Holiday Festivities

The crisp chill in the air is a reminder to us all that the holiday season is fast approaching. In the spirit of the season, the Borough of Lakehurst has begun planning its annual holiday festivities.

On Friday, December 8, 2017, downtown Lakehurst will be lit up as the Borough holds it annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. in front of the Lakehurst Community Center, 207 Center Street.

Following the tree lighting, residents and guests are invited into the Community Center for refreshments and a visit with Santa.

Additionally, the Lakehurst Historical Society Museum, located across from the Community Center, will be open from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The museum will be decorated
for the season with many antique toys on display.

The judging of the annual holiday lighting contest will be held during the week of December 18-26. The judges will have the difficult task of judging the wonderful display of lights for both businesses and residences.

Come join the Borough of Lakehurst in spreading some holiday joy.
